Vin Diesel Gets Attacked By A Duck

Vin Diesel has finally met his match.

Having survived explosions, car chases and some really bad films, he was brought down to size by… a duck.

Now at that age where he desperately realises that he’s getting too
old to run around getting blown up all the time, Diesel’s trying to
diversify into different styles of movies. First, he’ll try a comedy.

Just like the obvious commercial success when Sly Stallone made ‘Stop! Or My Mom Will Shoot’, right?

Nevertheless, he’ll soon be hitting the multiplexes in ‘The Pacifier’, the hilarious tale of a muscle-bound man amusingly out of his depth looking after some children. Remember Kindergarten Cop? The same as that. Exactly the same as that. Exactly.

In this film, Vin shares some scenes with a duck or two. And they scared the living bejesus out of him. Let him explain…

"I’m in a scene with Faith Ford where the duck is supposed to bite me on the ear.

They said, ‘OK, you won’t even feel it. He probably won’t even touch
you’ and I said, ‘Just as long as it doesn’t puncture. I don’t want to
get any kind of disease and I don’t want to get 50 shots’.
I grew up in New York – you got bit by a rat you got 50 shots in your
stomach.

Then, crunch! It was a real bite. I stood up and I’m thinking,
‘Now this duck’s hanging from my ear’. I turn around and the duck
starts swinging – it’s still on my ear.

Finally the duck flies through
the crew and everybody runs because they told me it wouldn’t bite but
there’s blood dripping from my ear."

Wuss.

Next up, he hopes, is a musical that he wants to co-star Robbie Williams. Let’s hope he hasn’t completely turned his back on blowing stuff up, then.
