redneck’s can be sometimes also misunderstood.although i understand their are people that won’t hit a lick at nothing,this should not be pointed at only “rednecks.”if your not from the country of course you narrow minded people wouldn’t understand how family oriented,hard working,”rednecks,”take up for and respect other human beings.as for country music,it’s life stories,tales,and dreams,of common people,with the gift and ability to share with others.country music DOES NOT make or attract drunk,violence,nor sorry ass people.i love all types of music,but country hits home to me,and i am a hard working,good person,with morals and very much God fearing country girl.so the next time you want to point your finger and judge people for doing a good and noble deed,you can kiss my country ass.just remember one thing,you might run across one day someone mis-treating someone you love or care about,don’t worry because if their is a “REDNECK” around close,you’ll probably reconsider your thoughts about us.God Bless you all!!!

I am now dumber for having read this article. I hate people who take an entire art form (country music) and lump another group of people (country music fans), and make them all out to be stupid. I would assume that a man of your intellect could be reasonable enough to know that it shows a real lack of talent to write in a manner as childish as this. According to the report McGraw saw the man "abusing a woman" in the crowd. Does that not warrent a response? If the woman were a relative of yours I would guess you wouldnt have minded his actions to intervene. But then again, I’m sure none of your family would be dumb enough to attend a country music concert. I would really love a reply to my personal email. Be man enough to stand behind your hateful words.
