worst sports star songsGeorge Bush and power, Sir Paul McCartney and Heather Mills, Britney and kids - there are some combinations that are doomed to fail before they even start.

It's just the way it is. You just have to accept it. So why then to sports stars insist on making tits of themselves by releasing records?

They already command massive salaries and are idolised by millions. So why don't they just stick to what they're good at? Do you they really think that what the world is really waiting for is them to pick up a microphone or guitar? Just about all of us at one stage of our lives have dreamed of being either a sports star or a musician. But to want to do both –that's just greedy! Give the rest of us a chance, you overpaid, pampered princesses.

Here are the 10 worst examples of sports stars having a bash at music. Please feel free to send us any more.

10. Kevin Keegan
Record: Head Over Heels In Love

Ask yourself the question King Kev: Was returning to manage Newcastle United a worst mistake than releasing this? It's a close call.

9. Carl Lewis
Record: Break It Up

Well, this clears up for good whether Carl Lewis is gay or not.

8. Gazza
Record: Fog On The Tyne

God knows England football legend Gazza has made some mistakes in his life. But nothing quite comes close to this.

7. Damon Hill
Record: Drive My Car

F1 star Damon Hill should have his World Championship title stripped from him for even contemplating such a musical crime.

6. Chris Waddle and Glenn Hoddle
Record: Diamond Lights

Is this the worst song ever written?

5. John McEnroe and Pat Cash
Record: Rock N' Roll

Apart from calling themselves The Full Metal Rackets, this Led Zeppelin cover is not actually that bad. We're going to hell.

4. Various snooker stars
Record: Snooker Loopy

We'd rather have our testicles grated than hear this effort by Chas and Dave and the 'The Matchroom Mob' again.

3. Muhammed Ali

We used to have respect of Muhammed Ali until we heard this.

2. Shaq
Record: (I Know I Got) Skillz

Jesus wept

1. Basile Boli and Chris Waddle
Record: We've Got A Feeling

Not happy with his part in the worst song ever written, Chris Waddle has another stab – this time with Marseille team-mate Basile Boli. The result? The worst video of all time. Why does Boli make more sense speaking French than Waddle does when he's speaking English?
