We’ve all done it - made a public show of affection for someone, for it to backfire on you few months later. We’d all done crazy things like, oh, leaping around on a sofa in front of the whole world.

That’s what being in love with Katie Holmes did for Tom Cruise in the middle of last year. But all the couch-jumping might have been a wee bit premature. It’s being reported that things are less than rosy between Tom and Katie, and that the Cruise/Holmes wedding we’ve all been looking forward to might not even happen at all.

Tom Cruise (DVDs) and Katie Holmes reportedly spent their Christmas on a
"fence-mending" mission at the home of Katie’s parents. Tom and the
Holmes’ have never seen eye-to-eye about Tom’s relationship with their
daughter. Probably because Tom is such a tiny little Oompah Loompah.

But the happy, handstands on a piano
behaviour that Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes displayed last month for
Katie’s birthday was nowhere to be seen over the festive period, according to Life & Style
Weekly Magazine. A ‘close friend’ of Cruise told the publication:

“Tom and Katie ended up leaving — three days earlier than planned. Katie was in tears, but
that’s standard when it comes to dealing with family matters and Tom.”

Even though Tom Cruise’s publicist has completely denied the story, rumours that the much-hyped marriage of Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes might not ever see the light of day. A ‘friend of the couple’ told Life & Style that:

“My honest opinion is that the wedding’s not
going to happen. Neither one
of them seems as enthusiastic as they once did about marriage.”

If this is true, it means that all the couch jumping, War Of The Worlds overshadowing and sonogram buying of last year was all for nothing.

Luckily, we kept the receipt for that super-soaker microphone wedding gift we were going to give them.

It sickens me when “nothing and nobody losers” make fun of Tom Cruise. Like it or not he IS THE BIGGEST MOVIE STAR OF ALL TIME!!!! and easily has another 10 years at the top since he produces his own films. His films are Oscar caliber and box office smashes. Katie is the luckiest girl alive to be the object of Cruise’s affection and she’s smart enough to know it. And stop making fun of Cruise’s height since he is way TALLER than anyone else when it comes to his showbiz ranking. ALL the biggest stars are short — the biggest actors Al Pacino and Dustin Hoffman, the biggest action star Sly Stallone, the biggest martial arts star Bruce Lee, the biggest superhero star Tobey Macguire — the list goes on and on!

Lisa, sweet Lisa, Tommyboy is a first rate certifiable nut-case. His movies dont come close to “Oscar worthy”, if they were, he’d have won one by now. Remember Eyes wide shut? I was embarrassed for him after watching that piece of garbage. Anyway, I agree with you, he had marketed himself well over the years, until he made the mistake of firing his publicist. He went from Hollywood royalty to the biggest laughingstock in the country in a matter of 8 monthes. I think his career is looking more like a train wreck everyday.

Tom Cruise’s personal life has nothing to do with his career. Regardless of whether he can act or not, he is still a lunatic. He completely comes across like a crazy arrogant self centered jerk who would be very controlling in a relationship. We don’t really hear as much about Holmes because she is probably not as self centered as Cruise, but I almost feel bad that she got involved in a relationship with such a weirdo… and that poor child!!
Every time I see hear something new about Tom Cruise it always ends up being some other bizarre thing that he has done. It has gotten to the point that I can’t stand the guy anymore!

  4. Mag Says:

The whole Scientology thing has been the ruin of him in my opinion. People see what whackos these people are now that Tom’s so open about it.

Anyway, what can you expect of a “relationship” where he allegedly had to interview three prospective women before Katie Holmes accepted the job and signed a contract? Allegedly.

  5. Jesse Says:

Tom Cruise happens to be the biggest movie star of all time. You don’t get to this position without being very smart, very able and admired in all aspects of your life.

It’s so easy to sit at one’s computer screeen and just tear people to pieces and that’s what journalists do best and Tom Cruise is the latest fad to tear to pieces because he’s had the courage to stand up and say things that other people don’t have the balls for.

Since when has saying “drugs are not good” a bad thing? Since when has professing your love been a bad thing?

No one is saying “Nice one Tom for help raising millions for the 9/11 disaster”, no one is saying “Nice one Tom for helping save firefighters lives by getting them a detox program”. No one is saying “Thanks Tom for bringing fantastic entertainment for years and years”.

No everyone is just getting on the pathetic bandwagon of giving him a hard time for no just cause. Well, it’s disgusting.

Oh, message for “Mag” - concerning Scientology, don’t even bother to start on that subject unless you are seriously educated on it - which you clearly are not.

Everytime I see this guy I am amazed how fake and unreal he seems. I have no idea who this man is. He comes across as a controlling jerk because that’s the normal attribute to the personality that he is currently emulating. It’s far from his own but I fear that whoever and whatever Tom was supposed to be is now gone. I can’t point my finger at anything in particular about his acting but while it is compentent, it’s a lot like his self, lacking any and all substantial depth. The Scientology crap is just sad.

  7. dutch Says:

Tom Cruise is a fucking joke! No talent! Short shit who made the girls frenzy by dancing in his underware. He has NEVER been up for an Oscar, why?? He is a schmuck! The ’scientoloy’ has warped his brain! Thay hooked him when his career was fading, like most of the actors they brainwash. Just look into the whole scientolory shit and see for yourself! He gives 75% to the ‘church’ based on a acid tripping pulp sci-fi writer! Xenu is comming for you TOM! Lisa are you a fat slob with no selfesteem? Get off the crack!

  8. Bex Says:

I have to say that I previously liked Tom, I thought he seemed very sweet and down to earth. But ever since he fired his publicist I think we’re finally getting to see the real him. He’s said that women shouldn’t seek therapy or use anti-depressents if they’re suffering from post-natal depression. Yeah? Has he suffered personally? No…didn’t think so, so if it helps these women over come their problems and get back to a ‘normal’ life and bond with thier babies, I could be mistaken, but surely thats a GOOD thing. What’s more…there’s no such thing as mental illness…that so? Then would he care to tell that to a friend of my mother, whose son was killed with a hammer blow to the head-given to him by his MENTALLY ILL father, who couldn’t get the drugs that he needed to control his behaviour…yes that’s right mentally ill people dont need drugs…RUBBISH!
Whats more his work is mediocore drivvel, the same every time…Instead of proclaiming him as the greatest actor of all time (we’ll forget about Marlon Brando, James Dean, Carry Grant and others shall we?) perhaps you should go out and watch some films that differ in their story lines…or follow actors who can play more than one type of Character…all I can say is, thank God he turned down Edward Scissorhands, not only did we get to see a truely great actor play him, but we also got to see the film made the way it was supposed to be, (Tom wanted to change it so that Edward would become a handsome man at the end, get the girl-and some hands, and they all live happily ever after. A nice happy Hollywood ending).
He is a well known, but only average actor, and he is by no means the greatest actor of his GENERATION let alone of all time.
I’m sure he has done wonderfully good things in his life…but so have many other actors, and no-ones proclaiming they’re the greatest thing since sliced bread. He says that if people need help learning to read, or kick a drug habbit, he is there to help. That’s very noble, but he doesn’t leave a contact name or telephone number does he? Just a little something to think about…

Tom Cruise is a stupid twat who went off his ADHD medication and is now over compensating for what a complete and utter deluded wanker he really is.

  10. Kiana Says:

Has anyone ever put it into thought that Tom Cruise is in his mid life? Men his age start to do very crazy things. Date young 20 something year old girls, show affection like a lovesick teenage boy on aching hormones, act childlike and profess a love that is not real but infatuated, buy a Sonogram machine to look at an unborn child. ( That can be done at the monthly maternal check ups) and lastly? foolishly getting a girl pregnant when he knows better that she wants to preserve her virginity till marriage. Does that sound like Tom Cruise to you? It also sounds like a man suffering midlife crisis. As for the pregnacy; Katie does not want to go waddling down the isle with a hump. She should have thought about that before having sex now shouldn’t she? Tom obviously in his midlife dilema, did not think of using a condome. Why? When a man in midlife wants to feel young again, he wants it all. Now look at what he did. He even turned Katie’s parents against him. If Katie was my daughter? I would appose this relationship too. It has all the ingredients of a major disaster.

  11. ligeia Says:

Tom Cruise is the most insignificant actor who has ever been produced by the American film industry. The only good roles he had were in “Magnolia” and “Eyes Wide Shut” (which is a great film by one of the last “real” directors who resisted the Hollywoodian degenerated mentality and silly morals). Cruise is not even worth discussing, there is absolutely nothing to say about his performances. Being a movie star is just a delusion and has nothing to do with real talent. Scientology is clearly a total fraud, one has to be a little braindead not to realize it.
