The Most Disgusting Video You Will See Today
Seriously, we're not joking. This video is wrong on so many different levels. It made us cover our eyes and whimper like little girls at a couple of points. What we're saying is, proceed with caution.
The video is a trailer for new Discovery Channel show Fight Quest where, from what we can tell, a couple of boneheads go around the world, cover themselves in their own blood, other peoples' blood and the blood of animals and smack the crap out of people with sticks. As you'll be repeatedly told throughout the Fight Quest video, everything you see is real – including one bit we won't spoil for you here that made us feel properly nauseous. We can't tell you how gruesome the Fight Quest video is, so don't say we didn't warn you.
Incidentally, to promote Fight Quest, Discovery Channel is giving away a couple of Wiis. You can enter it here, but remember that a games console won't replace the piece of your soul you lost by watching that nasty nasty video.
The show is great. Sure the Pancek Silat dude (the tongue cutting) is pretty nasty, but these 2 guys are absolute champs. They tour the world and explore the most extreme martial arts on the planet in their native land. Pretty amazing show with some really fantastic guys.
I agree. No matter how disgusting the video gets, the show is amazing. It’s crazy to train in some of these style for only 5 days and then go up against someone who has been training in it for years. They almost always get their asses kicked, but they get my respect for even trying.

If this is the most disgusting one then I’ve got some pretty good hopes for today.
This show isn’t bad, I actually find it to be pretty enjoyable. The Pencak Silat was maybe the worst one due to taboos in the Western World but the rest of the show is really quite tame. Especially since a lot of the fighting seems fairly toned down so they don’t end up with anything more than a bad bruising.
You do have to wonder about some people. “Hey, let’s go travelling around the world and get the shit kicked out of us”.
Still a good show though.

UMmmm.. Stuart fist of all the show is great.. it show cases aspects of cultures that are hundreds if not thousands of years old. YOu obviously know nothing about martial arts or you would not be so quick to judge. For a true martial artist the chance to travel the world and train with masters of any martial art, is a mind blowing experience. Second of all it shows your ignorance to just denounce it as gross.. have some respect for another culture not just your own .. ( by the way i was a part of the kajukenbo episode .. come on over and I will show you how we smack people with sticks.. )
