We at hecklerspray like our fine booze. We enjoy it responsibly and never, ever overdo it. We’re refined creatures indeed. In fact, there’s nothing we like more than sitting around the ‘spray bedsit in our pants, sipping cocktails and talking about fine art.
And TGI Fridays also like cocktails. In fact, they like them so much that they’ve trained their staff to fling bottles around like some kind of amazing boozy circus act!
It just so happens that TGI Friday are celebrating their 25th anniversary and, instead of crying in a carpark, they decided to try and break a world record, which is just brilliant. Did they manage it? And did they make the infamous Heckler Cocktail in a bid to smash a record?
TGI Fridays made an attempt at setting a Guinness World Record for the Most People Simultaneously Cocktail Flaring to celebrate their 25th Anniversary.
Cocktail flaring, if you didn’t know, is when bartenders throw bottles around with skill and wild abandon while creating something to whet your whistle.
And so, TGI got 100+ bartenders to coordinate a fancy dan routine for over two minutes and no-one was allowed to drop a bottle or fall out of sync. Months of rehearsals later, they finally came together before a crowd at London?s Covent Garden. Where they powered and steeled by the powers of the Heckler Cocktail?
Before we find out whether the world record attempt was successful, here, for the first time, is editor Mof showing you how to make the Heckler Cocktail.
After seeing that, you’ll be on the edge of your seat, wondering if TGI Fridays managed to smash the Guinness World Record for most flaring drink makers!
Well, there’s only one way to find out if they did it and that’s to watch this video. In fairness, you could probably do a search online, but that involves reading and no-one wants that.
So watch this and then make yourself a cool, refreshing, hearty Heckler Cocktail!

Cookie Monster says
Toilet bowl cleaner? Cue the potty-mouth jokes!
No? None? JoeMomma, Arthur, anybody? Bah.
I’ll just wonder out loud – as I do with all thoughts that enter my head – how things went once that concoction made it’s way through Mof’s system. He is the man of steel, or the man of sponges, brushes and poop residuals. The jury is still out…
