Tell Us Which Z-Lister Is Turning On Your Christmas Lights
Then buzz it up

OK, so as you are all aware, hecklerspray is currently conducting its annual Trainwreck poll. However, we today launch another campaign to try and discover which city from around the world has the naffest celebrity switching on their Christmas lights.
For example, in London’s Oxford Street, poor man's Chris Moyles Jamie Theakston will be hosting while current popstar but next year's call centre worker Leona Lewis is switching on the lights. Bolton will see Ted Robbins - who, as we all know, played Den Perry in about three episodes of Phoenix Lights - illuminating the sky. Maybe Peter Kay was busy that night. But our best find so far is former Changing Rooms designer Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen, who's going to switch on Cirencester’s lights.
But you can do better than that, surely. We want you to find out who is switching on your town's Christmas lights and let us know in the comments. Crappest celebrity wins a prize. And if you can manage to take a picture of them at the switching-on ceremony, email the photo to hello[AT]hecklerspray.com and there could be a Christmassy reward in it for you.
However, if anyone can find Lee Ryan turning on some regional Christmas lights, and get him to say hello to hecklerspray on film, there'll be an extra special automatic spot prize.

How can you refer to leona as a z lister? she is not a z-lister at the moment she is absolutely killing everyone else in the charts and is on course to have the biggest selling single of the year after 3 weeks. Soon she will have a #1 album as well. And she is being launced in the states by clive davis, so i really dont think she qualifies as a zlister now or will next year. You cant use forsight to claim she is a zlister because YOU think she wwill be one next year (thats ridiculous), she isnt one now so she isnt one, so please remove her from that list.
She is also doing a performance of BLeeding love which is great promotion for her in the middle of oxford street. The other people mentioned wont be doing any thing like this!

Yeah, you fuckers. That ‘foresight’ of yours. Next, you’ll be going out with a coat on when it’s cloudy, just because your ‘foresight’ says it will surely rain.
Jill Halfpenny is switching on our lights:
“Newcastle’s Christmas lights will be switched on by Strictly Come Dancing star
Jill Halfpenny on a stage at the junction of Grey Street and Market Street at
6.30pm Thursday 17 November. ”
I can hardly wait.

No gilbert, obviously you missed the point. She isnt a z lister NOW, if she is one in a years time you can call her one. But you cant call her a z-lister now because you think she will be in a years time. Because how do you know? But the others on the list they are z-listers. I suppose you just wanted to put someone more high profile on your list to make your reporting more interesting, well done! By the way shes just won the cosmo best new comer award and will be singing the new james bond theme song. HARDLY a z-lister.

This has to be the most bizarre pairing…………. Portsmouth
Radio 2’s Ken Bruce, joined by the Crazy Frog, will then carry out the official opening of A Festival of Christmas at the starboard arena opposite HMS Victory at 5:45pm, with a lights switch on ceremony.
