That Tara Palmer-Tomkinson, she’s not content with running around in the jungle with a tiara on to prove how posh she is, she also has to go and ruin the life of a poor homeless lady by dressing the old dear in cashmere sweaters.

Tara clearly couldn’t stand the thought of her local bag-lady bumming around dressed in Littlewoods finest, so she thought she would hand down a few of her swanky jumpers to the woman.

And that’s when people stopped giving money to the lady, as she looked too well dressed to be residing in cardboard city.

Tara Palmer-Tomkinson (DVDs) – whose previous exploits have included suggesting that poor children would be happier if they owned horses – admitted to The Daily Telegraph:

"I
used to give all my cashmere tops to this one particular homeless lady,
but people stopped giving her money because she was too fabulously
dressed."

To
add insult to injury, Tara Palmer-Tomkinson is also too tight to take her car to the
local BP garage for a carwash, and instead bungs a few quid the way of
some down-and-out to clean it for her:

"I’ll often pay homeless people to come round and clean my car."

And that’s not all folks – no – old Tara Palmer-Tomkinson’s generosity goes even further:

"I’ll even make them soup to keep them going."

Awwww bless,
a tin of Heinz Pea And Ham soup and a handful of shrapnel, no wonder
the girl can afford all those jewels. Now if she’d thrown in a couple
of Gypsy Creams, that would have been real charity.

Still, at least she’s not spending her riches on a hefty coke habit these days.

With friends like Tara, the homeless don’t need enemies. The poor girl doesn’t see that she’s part of the problem, not the solution.
