Steambirds is a dogfighting game, where you have to blow the Germans out of the sky before they manage to blow you out of the sky. What makes Steambirds so incredible, though, is the fact that it’s turn-based – you have to point your planes in advance and hope that you’ve caught your opponent out. It’s almost like a football manager game in its technique, except this is better because there are bullets and fire here.
