Grr, rock and roll! It's all sweaty blokes creating gruff sounding riffs, involved in constant booze drinking fights and, for certain individuals, tight leather clothing that's topped off with a sexy double denim finish.

But what is a rock stars instrument of choice? Of course the guitar is a staple of any band of? musicians spending years finding the right make and model that suits them.

Where do all musicians start their craft? It takes an extremely talented individual to pick up any musical instrument from the keyboard to the drums to make an instant impact. Everyone has to start somewhere, but got any eager child wanting to get into music, no sane parent will bung their offspring for lessons in a back of a dimly lit music shop. Just like basic maths, science and English, music lessons are learnt in school. Sadly, there aren't two weeks learnt on how to smash up amps at the end of a gig, instead everything gets taught on the humble recorder.
