Laura Harring is a staggeringly beautiful Mexican-American actress who is perhaps best known for playing the character of Paula Stevens on the late 1990’s NBC daytime soap opera Sunset Beach.
But Harring has other notable distinctions apart from her job as a thespian. For instance, in 1985 she went from being Miss El Paso (Texas) USA to becoming the first Latin American woman ever to earn the coveted crown of Miss USA.
Two years after this historic national beauty pageant victory, Harring married a German Count, Carl-Eduard von Bismarck-Schönhausen, the great-great-grandson of Otto von Bismarck. Though the couple divorced just two years after they were wed, Harring still holds the mega-prestigious title of Countess.
