Oh now this is brilliant. Quite, quite brilliant. GTI Project is the very thing we’ve wanted to see for years – an online Scalextric game.

And GTI Project couldn’t be simpler, either – hold down your mouse to speed up, take your finger off the mouse to slow down. Slow into the corners and fast out, that’s the name of the game. Best of all, GTI Project is played from the driver’s viewpoint, confirming our suspicion that Scalextric is terrifying. There’s a fairly lengthy intro to get through before the actual game, but it’s well worth it. Marvellous.
