Throughout the course of human history, there have been some truly?amazing?appearances on talk shows by completely shit-faced celebrities. It’s always magical when it happens … and I think I can speak for all of us when I say that we, the public, wish it happened more often.?

No one has ever believed those horseshit excuses about actors being nervous or?shy in interviews. It’s your job?to entertain people (for which you make an astronomical amount of money), and you can very well?have a chat in front of an adoring audience for a few minutes. However, if it helps you to get your drink on prior to (or during) the interview, then by all means chug-a-lug.

For that X Factor Expert and all round amazing woman what is good at chatting to people on strange curved sofas that don’t exist anywhere except post-watershed Channel 4 programmes has ‘reportedly’ (and Jesus Christ, we use that term lightly, this story was pulled from Star Magazine, where half the office are frequented by Nick Hardman’s idea of what women look like, and the rest: Frogs) agreed to be the face of a new late night chat show, like that time they did it with Charlotte Church, as part of the What To Do With Down to Earth Welsh People Scheme of 2006.

Anyway, the consensus seems to be it’s going to be a show kind of on the same lines.

So what earth-shattering insights have we discovered about the inhabitants of TV land? Now, we realise this is rather a sweeping statement ? but from what we can tell, TV stars spend half of their time eating and the other half talking about it.
