What’s the best TV theme tune ever? You could argue that until the end of time itself. And so, the ‘best’ could arguably be the theme regarded to be the most recognisable… and a recent poll has some interesting results for most recognisable TV theme tune ever.

Latest research undertaken by PRS for Music, has revealed that The Flintstones’ theme tune is the most recognisable of kids’ television programmes, according to the UK public.

It’s quite handy that this won the poll as the theme, written by Hoyt Curtin, Joseph Barbera and William Hanna, as the show will celebrate its 50th anniversary this year.
