Amateur singer and professional costumer, Gwen Stefani, let fans down last Saturday when she appeared at a Halloween party in a half-assed lumberjack disguise.? Stefani’s costumes have always been greatly admired and applauded, from her 2002 appearance in a convincing bridal outfit to her recent performances, whimsically dressed in period attire as the lead singer of the 90’s band, No Doubt (who ironically shares her name).
But at a children’s party on October 19, accompanied by sons, Zuma and Kingston (most likely fake names), who were dressed as a Power Ranger and a soccer player respectively, Gwen showed up in what appeared to be a hastily assembled lumberjack costume, consisting of an obviously borrowed fat man’s plaid shirt and a stolen pair of blue jeans.? When confronted over the Halloween faux pas, Stefani quickly realized her error, pretending that the offending garments were not a costume at all, but were instead ?street clothes?.
