Eurovision 2009: Urban Symphony, Estonia Here it comes - another massive dollop of Eurovision 2009 information. We're so good to you.
But before we get into any of that - do you live in London? Do you know where the Scala is? Good, because on Friday there's going to be a huge Eurovision preview party there, starring performers from Cyprus, Romania and Bulgaria. We suppose what we're trying to say is get out of London on Friday.

Eurovision 2009: Niels Brinck, Denmark Easter is all finished with, and yet here we are again with more of these Eurovision profiles. They're never going to stop. Get used to it.
What was the big Eurovision news over Easter? There wasn't any. Or maybe there was, but we haven't been bothered to look. Which one is true? You'll never know. And it's a secret that we've vowed to take to the grave. Oh, alright, it's the second one. Happy now?

Eurovision 2009: Gypsy.Cz, Czech Republic Because of the truncated Easter week, this will be the last Eurovision profile until Tuesday. We assume those are gleeful whoops of sadness you're doing at the moment.
Ready for your traditional daily Eurovision fact? Of course you are, so here goes - Only three women the orchestra at the Eurovision Song Contest. Nurit Nirsch conducted the Israeli entries of 1973 and 1978, Monica Dominique conducted the Swedish 1973 entry and Anita Kerr appeared in front of the orchestra for Switzerland in 1985. Write that down. We'll be doing a quiz after the contest. No we won't.

Eurovision 2009 – Christina Metaxa, Cyprus You can't deny that these Eurovision 2009 profiles aren't getting exciting - we even had bare boobs a couple of days ago, for crying out loud.
But the best is yet to come. And when we say 'best' we mean 'majority'. Surely something good has to come up in the next month, right? Anything - a tune that doesn't make us want to shatter our skull into microscopic fragments would be a nice treat at the moment, to be honest. Oh, who are we kidding, that'll never happen.

Eurovision 2009: Igor Cukrov and Andrea Šušnjara, Croatia Here we go again, it's time for another thump of Eurovision 2009 profiles.
We're so close to the Eurovision Song Contest now that we can give you actual news about the contest instead of filling this space up with meaningless facts and unimportant figures. So here's today's Eurovision news - the lighting for the contest has started to be built into the Olympiyski Indoor Arena. Whew, that's some news. We wonder if tomorrow's news will be able to top that?

We know you're only reading this because you're a crazy-eyed Eurovision fanatic, so here's a Eurovision fact for you: Poland made the most impressive debut in 1994, when Edyta Gorniak came second with To Nie Ja, closely followed by Serbia's victory in 2007. Cut that fact out and keep it, Eurovision fans. Cut it out of the internet. With scissors.

Eurovision 2009: Regina, Bosnia & Herzegovina Two weeks into our Eurovision 2009 coverage and we're already at the B countries. This is going so fast! Phew!
The big question, though, is whether you're ready for our Eurovision Fact Of The Day. Oh, it doesn't matter if you are or not, because here it is anyway - Dutch conductor Dolf van der Linde conducted for seven different countries (Belgium, Germany, Ireland, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Sweden and Switzerland). Oh boy, that fact's a KEEPER!
