Droid is three quarters of a brilliant game.

The idea’s an old one – move your character from one side of the level to the other – but it’s done nice and effectively. You’re a droid, see, so you’ve got a ruddy great gun to shoot stuff with. The only problem with Droid is the control system – the game wrongly assumes that humans have got 15 fingers on each hand. Other than that, though, aces.
