Sometimes when band members decide to go solo, they always assume that what they've released is the best thing since the invention of music itself.

Mala is from the terribly good act Digital Mystikz where, with his fellow dubstep producer Coki, he’s released all sorts of records that have cemented the outfit as leading pioneers in this ever-expanding genre. Continuing on his own, the production is as tight as ever and makes perfect sense as to why he was asked to headline the evening part of the electronic festival Sonar. Forget your typical festival in a crappy, rain-soaked English field, it was in sunny Barcelona.
