Brittany Murphy’s Dad Sues Coroner Because, Presumably, He Was Hoping For A Drug Outcome

When Brittany Murphy died, everyone just assumed that she’d gone overboard on the ol’ drugs. That’s what famous young people do, right? They hammer it too much and their famous hearts just give up.

Alas, it would appear that Brittany died of Community-Acquired Pneumonia and Iron Deficiency Anemia.

And now, oddly, Brittany Murphy’s dad, Angelo Bertolotti, isn’t happy about the result and is suing the Los Angeles County Coroner’s Office because he’d like to do his own tests. What was he hoping for? Something more decadent or glamorous?

Simon Monjack – Brittany Murphy’s Widower – Now Also Dead

Brittany Murphy died five months ago. And if that wasn’t sad enough, now her husband has gone the same way.

Simon Monjack has been found dead. Police have confirmed that Monjack died last night in Los Angeles, being pronounced dead after emergency services responded to an ‘unspecified medical need request’ made at around 9:30pm local time.

No cause has yet been given for Simon Monjack’s death and – depending on details that police officers have yet to make public – official word might not emerge for several weeks. Very sad news.

Brittany Murphy & The Trouble With Prescription Drugs

Hollywood actress Brittany Murphy died towards the end of last year, which was actually really sad news. She played some decent characters and was, in my esteemed opinion as someone who's reviewed many a film, a good actress.

To clarify; by ?many? I mean more than one. And by ?reviewed? I mean ask questions all the way through so I can say at the end that I didn't get it or that it was a bit boring.

But whatever, we can't all be Jonathan Ross. Russell Brand?s rectum isn't big enough for us all to fit in, for a start. Point is, it's sad, alright?

Brittany Murphy: The Somewhat Depressing Coroner’s Report

Since her sudden death in December, the question of what killed Brittany Murphy has hung in the air.

So what was it? Some have claimed that the Hollywood machine, that eats starlets up and spits them out without a second thought, was to blame. Others have blamed Brittany’s hedonistic streak, and hinted that her increasingly erratic behaviour could have been a factor.

But the coroner’s report into Brittany Murphy’s death has just been released. Turns out it was a mixture of pneumonia, anaemia, iron deficiency and massive drug intoxication that did her in. So, in a way, everybody sort of had a point. Kind of.

Brittany Murphy Autopsy Today: Prescription Drugs To Blame?

Sad news folks, it looks like 2009 has claimed another one.

Brittany Murphy – from 8 Mile and Just Married – has died. She was found unconscious in her shower yesterday and pronounced dead shortly afterwards, following what has been described as a ‘full cardiac arrest’.

An autopsy is set to take place on Brittany Murphy’s body as soon as today, and some outlets are already speculating on the cause – with everything from prescription drug abuse to cocaine to eating disorders to diabetes being chucked around. No doubt we’ll be told what killed Brittany Murphy before too long, but it’s never good to be presented with that many potential factors.
