A week of two halves.

Folded:

  • Desperate Housewives (yep, the Desperate Housewives, the one that’s just jumped forward five years and managed to be innovative in a way that 24 hasn’t since it started)
  • Jeffrey Wright (…appearing soon in Quantum of Solace, this is the man who made Shaft 2000 watchable and Casino Royale worth sticking with when Craig wasn’t slapping people. He deserves proper recognition)
  • Stine Bramsen the cute lead singer of Alphabeat (cute, like we said)
  • Swatch’s Bond Villain watches (take the quiz and find out who best reflects your personality. Just pray it’s not Wint and Kidd)
  • Cheesestrings (cheap, fun, got a cartoon character on the packet – plus if your shoelaces break you’ve got a spare)

Creased:

  • ‘Pizza Hut’ becoming ‘Pasta Hut’ (this now makes it fine for dates)
  • Britain’s Got the Pop Factor…and Possibly a New Celebrity Jesus Christ Soapstar Superstar Strictly on Ice (‘Two Up, Two Down’ – one laugh, that’s one laugh in over two hours of bafflingly outdated satire)
  • The Tresemme advert for the girl with ‘poodle hair’ (where she looks ten times more interesting before they iron her hair flat and cover it in £2 conditioner)
  • Going to see Quantum of Solace dressed as James Bond (he doesn’t buy his shoes at TK Maxx, nor does he have braiding on his tux)
  • The Wrong Door (finally BBC Three have topped themselves. This is officially the worst programme they have ever made, and that’s saying something)
