Singer Ashanti is what early millenniums nostalgia is all about.
Think back to the year 2000 and you can practically hear her raspy voice crooning Foolish over the radio. She made a heavyweight RnB team collaborating with Ja Rule enjoying hits together like Wonderful and Mesmerize. Ashanti without makeup looks fairly average.
In the first photo she has few blemishes but her under eye shadows leave her looking drawn out. It's a far cry from her usual glamorous persona but look how darn happy she looks; it kind of makes up for the image U turn.
PR stunts are wonderful things. Well, that’s a lie – they tend to be pretty rubbish in the most part, and aside from the odd grandiose piece of artistic wondery they tend to highlight how awful the world of marketing and PR is.
