Who would have thought predators had dogs?
When I first saw one kick the living crap out of Arnie all those years ago, the last thing I thought was that we had something in common; something to chat about in the pub. That we both had furry friends. Sure, the dogs themselves have a face only a predator could love and not much fur, but you get the point.
Admittedly, it’s a strange way to start a review of the latest offering in the Predator franchise, but it was probably the most interesting thing about the film. Not that Predators, starring Oscar winner Adrien Brody and Laurence Fishburne, and produced by Robert Rodriguez, is bad. It’s actually a good way to waste 107 minutes of your life.

The trailer for the latest Predator reboot, Predators, is doing the rounds – and, well, we are actually quite impressed.
Now hecklerspray knows how you feel. We also would rather wash ourselves with alien acid vomit than watch another Alien v Predator movie. But this is different, mainly because it follows exactly the same plot as the first one, which, although not exactly original, is slightly heartwarming.
Lots of hard people and Adrien Brody battling to save their lives against not one but lots of Predators – genius. You just have to deal with Adrien Brody as the new Arnie. Which is kind of like trying to get a chicken to pretend to be a horse or something. Or like asking Nic Cage to be good at acting. Anyway, trailer after the jump…
