Strictly Come Dancing Odds – Odds To Win (Part 2)

Strictly_come_dancing_odds_dennis_taylorThere’s just a couple more days before you people get your next fix of Strictly Come Dancing. Can you wait? Can you? Can you wait for a whole hour of Strictly Come Dancing to be pumped up your eyes? A whole hour of watching not very famous people dancing in a really mediocre way? Strictly Come Dancing? Strictly Rubbish Television, more like.

Oh, don’t get angry – we’re only joking. Kind of. Strictly Come Dancing is a bit rubbish, but so long as we’ve got bets on the winner, we’ll be watching it. You should bet on it, too. Betting is fun, especially when you’re betting on such a bunch of hopeless celebrity dancers.

Here’s the final part of this week’s betting odds to win Strictly Come Dancing, withe the usual help from Betfair.com

Dennis Taylor – You’re a judge on Strictly Come Dancing. One of the contestants is Dennis Taylor, the famous snooker player. Imagine the agony of watching him dance quite well – every time that he competently completes a move, that’s one less chance for you to use your hilarious snooker analogy that you’ve been saving. Luckily, this week Dennis Taylor fouled up his Quickstep, and like a flash the snooker analogy came out "At one point I think you snookered your right leg behind your left leg," one of the judges told him. Hilarity ensued. SCORE – 18Current odds – 99/1

James Martin – As a chef, James Martin is no Gordon Ramsey, but luckily for him, as a dancer he’s no Dennis Taylor, either. There’s not much to say except that he danced quite well, and got a good score. One of the judges called him "Suave debonair smooth and sharp." SCORE – 29 - Current odds – 45/1

Fiona Phillips – Comedy Fiona Phillips is the only reason Strictly Come Dancing is worth watching. Apart from all the betting, of course. It’s fun to watch her hobble around the dancefloor like a polio-stricken newborn deer, but it’s even more fun to watch her dance partner get all hissy with her. This week, the judges said "It was a bit like a trifle, there was plenty of fruit on the top, but underneath it was all spongy." Fiona Phillips has a spongy underneath? Who’d have thought? SCORE – 13 - Current odds – 54/1

Will Thorp – Now that Siobhan and Jaye have been eliminated, Will is the contestant we know the least about. So he’ll probably be going this week. Or maybe not – while he was criticised for his wooden hips last week, they came in handy for the Quickstep. "Fabulous footwork," said the judges. SCORE – 29Current odds – 33/1

Bill Turnbull
- Hooray for Bill Turnbull! He can’t really dance to save his life, but he’s putting exactly the right amount of enthusiasm into his routines. If he used any more effort, he’s end up looking as foolish as Colin Jackson does. Bill isn’t going to win Strictly Come Dancing, but imagine how great it’d be if he did. One of the judges even called him a "studmuffin". SCORE – 23Current odds – 35/1
