Strictly Come Dancing Betting Odds – This Week’s Odds To Win
***LATEST STRICTLY COME DANCING BETTING ODDS! CLICK HERE***
Far be it from us to suggest that Strictly Come Dancing is anything less than 100% solid gold entertainment; but by the end of Saturday’s episode, our brain was so outraged at the sight of nano-celebrities dancing round in circles that at one point it actually tried to crawl out of our nose. But then we pointed out to our brain that we were betting on the outcome of Strictly Come Dancing, and everything was OK again.
This weekend, Jaye Jacobs was the second dancer to be eliminated from Strictly Come Dancing, and it’s a shame. Because we really didn’t have a clue who she was, and we’ll probably never find out.
So who’s going to win this series of Strictly Come Dancing? Now we’ve seen the contestants do two lovely big dances, are we any closer to understanding if they are any good at dancing or not? Well, no. But Betfair.com does, so we’re able to give you part one of this week’s betting odds to win Strictly Come Dancing…
Zoe Ball – It’s becoming frighteningly obvious that Zoe Ball is a pretty good dancer, and all that shouting laddy nonsense she’s famous for is just a big front for her secret dancey persona. However, her partner was wearing such a ridiculous outfit that all Zoe’s points should have been torn up and thrown in a dustbin. The judges still love her – one called her a "glamour puss," which is a step up from last week’s "gazelle" comment at least. SCORE – 32 – Current odds – 13/10
Darren Gough – What an exceptionally fat gentleman Darren Gough. We’d never noticed it before but, then again, we’d never seen him dressed up in spandex before, either. He danced the Quickstep to a Robbie Williams song, which impressed the judges. "It was a big surprise to me," gushed one of them. SCORE – 30 – Current odds – 21/1
Gloria Hunniford – We’re not going to say anything mean about Gloria Hunniford this week – like saying that she’s so old, she should be hooked up to a drip of liquid Werthers Originals. Not this week. Gloria somehow decided to Rumba to a Simply Red song – which would earn zero points in our book – but that wasn’t her biggest problem. "There can be nothing sexier than an older woman dancing with a younger man," said the older woman judge, plainly talking about herself, "but at the moment you are afraid of it." SCORE – 17 – Current odds – 64/1
Colin Jackson – Colin is a good dancer. Who’d have thought it? He’s creeping up behind Zoe as a favourite to win Strictly Come Dancing, and his light feet led him to glory to this week. The judges were beside themselves, "Best Quickstep of the night!" claimed one of them, just before making a lame crack about jumping another hurdle. SCORE – 35 – Current odds – 13/10
Patsy Palmer – Last week Patsy was a lot of arse at dancing, but this week she managed to control her dizzy spells enough to get on top of her routine. We didn’t watch her routine because we were probably too busy picking at our feet or something, but it seems like she did very well. "Whoever knew you had such beautiful legs?" said one of the judges, possibly as he dribbled and rubbed his thighs. SCORE – 26 – Current odds – 20/1
We’ll finish up the betting odds of the contestants tomorrow, but in the meantime, check out Betfair.com to see the very
