Strictly_come_dancing_betting_odds_colinStrictly Come Dancing has lost Dennis Taylor - the bewildered, staggering snooker player who danced like a slack-stringed marionette puppet controlled by Judy Finnegan. But hey, at least we won’t have to endure any more rubbish old snooker references by the judges.

So now Dennis Taylor - who couldn’t even dance as well as a newsreader with a manky leg - has been eliminated from Strictly Come Dancing, who are the new favourites to win the series?

Here’s part one of our betting odds to win Strictly Come Dancing, with help as usual from Betfair.com

Zoe Ball - There was a bit of a blip in the fortunes of Zoe Ball a
few weeks ago. But now she has returned, like a boozy shouting Phoenix,
to leap back as the favourite to win Strictly Come Dancing. She danced
the Samba to the song from the end of The 40-Year-Old Virgin, and the
judges told her "There was a sizzle in your Samba." Which sounds pretty
painful. SCORE - 35 - Current odds - 2.08

Darren Gough - Maybe we had Darren down all wrong. We thought he was
a great big fat squeaky-voiced cricketer with a tiresome penchant for
laddish behaviour. Turns out he’s a great big fat squeaky-voiced
cricketer with a tiresome penchant for laddish behaviour who can
actually dance quite well. His Viennese Waltz, though, wasn’t that
great. A judge told him that "You went into a bit of a Dalek mode."
But
a Dalek with a sillier voice. SCORE - 28 - Current odds - 6.8

Colin Jackson - Colin has proved that he can dance almost as well as
he can jump over a row of little fences, but he can’t quite keep up
with Zoe’s pace. Even though he’s carrying an injury, Colin got a big
score for his Samba, and the judges told him "I think you could teach
Erin a thing or two about dirty dancing."
And while he’s at it, he
could also teach Erin about wearing awful pink spandex jumpers. SCORE -
32
- Current odds - 3.9

Patsy Palmer - Last week Patsy Palmer had the series in the palm of
her hand. This week, though, she ballsed it right up. And it displeased
the judges, too. "That could have been the horniest and dirtiest
samba,"
one of them said as he put his willy back in his trousers with
a disappointed sigh. SCORE - 26 - Current odds - 11.5
