Strictly Come Dancing Betting Odds: Louisa & Mark
For once in this never-ending series of Strictly Come Dancing, there's some actual tension going on – beyond the usual 'is Bruce Forsyth going to fall over and shatter his hip?' tension or 'will Tess Daly be able to perform her rudimentary dance routine properly for once?' tension.
No – tomorrow's Strictly Come Dancing is the first time that there hasn't been an absolute donkey hoofing around the stage like an electrocuted cadaver, which means that any of the remaining dancers could be getting the shove in just over a day's time? But who? Some of the Strictly Come Dancing contestants have been consistently good throughout the series, others have shown a marked improvement, and some are just easy to perv over in weeny sparkly dresses. But who's going to win Strictly Come Dancing? Who's going to win? Strictly Come Dancing? Who? Win? Strictly? Win. Win?
Here are the Strictly Come Dancing betting odds for Louisa Lytton and Mark Ramprakash…
Louisa Lytton – Right from the start of Strictly Come Dancing, Louisa Lytton has been the second-favourite to win, and it's a position she's had engraved in stone – the cricketer may have stormed into the lead and the Spice Girl may have tumbled a few spots, but Louisa Lytton has dug in and held her place well. This was demonstrated on Saturday's show when Louisa managed to dance both routines well, but not well enough for people to think she'll actually win the show. Her first Strictly Come Dancing routine was a Viennese Waltz that got pulled apart by the Strictly Come Dancing judges but still pulled in the points. For her second routine, Louisa Lytton yanked out a cha cha cha to Rescue Me that was so impressive that one of the judges actually called her "Bootylicious" – a moment almost as cringeworthy as when your boss tries to call MC Hammer "bangin'." But what does any of this mean? It means that Louisa Lytton will end up as the runner-up of Strictly Come Dancing, probably. SCORES: 33 & 36 – Current Strictly Come Dancing betting odds – 9/4
Mark Ramprakash – It's getting a bit boring talking about how easily Mark Ramprakash will win Strictly Come Dancing now, isn't it? So imagine how thrilled we were when Mark Ramprakash absolutely ballsed up his Foxtrot to California Dreaming. It was truly a joyous thing to see Mark's confused face as he staggered about with no real direction; a feeling that was only equalled by the Strictly Come Dancing judges' proclamation that it had left them "bitterly disappointed." But not as disappointed as we were when Mark's second routine – a Samba – was annoyingly a lot better, not least because it seemed to let off a bunch of pheromones that went right up the female Strictly Come Dancing judge's nose. "The swinging, swirling, swivelling hips are back!" she cried, while rolling around on the floor like a cat on heat. That said, Mark Ramprakash is still the favourite to win Strictly Come Dancing, although he's beginning to look slightly out of his depth. SCORES: 28 & 36 – Current Strictly Come Dancing betting odds – 5/4
