The new series of Strictly Come Dancing starts tomorrow night, and we haven’t been this excited since the last time we saw a bunch of people we didn’t really recognise dancing around on the telly.
Over the last week we’ve been looking at the Strictly Come Dancing betting odds for all the contestants except two – and that’s what we’ve come here today to do. In many ways, these two Strictly Come Dancing hopefuls are the Zoe Ball and Colin Jackson of this year’s Strictly Come Dancing, only with less running and sleeping with DJs and more acting and having failed solo careers. Have you placed a Strictly Come Dancing bet yet? You really should, you know, and there’s a link after the jump.
So here are the Strictly Come Dancing betting odds for Louisa Lytton and Emma Bunton, with help from PaddyPower…
Louisa Lytton – Louisa Lytton? Who she? Oh, come on, you watch Eastenders – you know who Louisa Lytton is. Let’s refresh your memory, shall we? Louisa Lytton is the girl from Eastenders who you have a crush on that you never mention to anyone because she’s only 17 and you already feel enough of a right old filthy pervert every time you even so much as think of her. Yeah, that one. Well, Louisa Lytton is leaving Eastenders soon and, rather than trying to quickly build on her reputation as a capable actress by taking a number of varied roles to help prepare her for a long acting career, she’s decided to spuff away any career momentum that starring in Eastenders gave her by appearing in a shoddy reality TV show about dancing. But Louisa Lytton is second favourite to win Strictly Come Dancing, so she must be pretty decent on her feet. And the longer Louisa Lytton stays in Strictly Come Dancing, the more tiny gowns you’ll get to see her in. You pervert. Current Strictly Come Dancing betting odds – 4/1
Emma Bunton – Emma Bunton? Who she? Ah, perhaps you’ll know Emma Bunton more by the name Baby Spice, as Emma Bunton is her solo name, and the Emma Bunton solo career has been about as successful as the time you tried not to urinate all down the inside of your trousers in church when you were five, and you know full well how that turned out. You could say that Emma Bunton doing a reality TV dance show is a bit of career low for a former Spice Girl, but you’d be wrong – pretending to be in love with Eddie Murphy is a career low for a former Spice Girl, as is calling your daughter Bluebell Madonna, and Emma Bunton is yet to do either of those. The majority of people are saying that Emma Bunton is a shoo-in for the Strictly Come Dancing crown because she was in a successful pop group, but they might be suffering from a little bit of selective memory loss; yes, Emma Bunton was in The Spice Girls, but any dancing was mostly limited to swaying from side to side in the background while Sporty Spice did some backflips. And anyway, who’s going to bet on Emma Bunton with these odds? Current Strictly Come Dancing betting odds – 11/4
Next week – X Factor betting odds and Strictly Come Dancing betting odds? Sweet baby Jesus, we know how to treat you right.
