West Coast lyricist Snoop Dogg aka ‘Calvin Broadus’, has this week confirmed that he will perform at the Roskilde Festival in Denmark this summer…

The rapper who is notorious for his mellow vocal delivery, will be there along with other artists who are scheduled to appear, including Brian Wilson from the Beach Boys, Black Sabbath, Green Day, Foo Fighters, Carl Cox, AudioSlave, Autechre, British jazz sensation Jamie Cullum and plenty more artists.

Snoop Dogg’s last appearance in Denmark was back in 1998, now the D-O-double G will return to the stage in between the festival dates of the 30 June and 3 July.

What, exactly, is the allure of a music fest, in the Nordic nation of Denmark?

Is it the never-ending summer sunlight or is it because its very creation is based on the original Woodstock of 1969?

The festival that began in the 70s is still going strong and has been earning rave reviews over the past few years.

If you want to make it to Denmark to catch the entertainment, hurry and buy tickets as time waits for no man, especially when there is such an all-star line up ready to perform.

Yes, Roskilde ‘05 is set to be quite an amazing celebration of music, forget Glastonbury, get yourself over to Roskilde, for the summer sunshine and have yourself an ice cold Tuborg whilst the sun rises.

There / Square.
