It’s almost 2006, which means that it’s almost time for the 2006 World Cup.
We’re looking forward to the World Cup, and the traditional rituals that go along with it. Rituals such as forgetting that England has quite a rubbish team, building up unrealistic expectations of them and then trashing the supermarket cheese counter when they draw 0-0 with Switzerland in their first game.
On December 9th, the final World Cup draw will take place, allowing commentators to call England’s group "The group of death," even though they’ll probably be up against duffers like Togo, Ecuador and America.
