Children, as we all know, are stupid and need to learn from their mistakes. That's why you should never stop them playing around with frying pans and matches. Virtual Villagers are kind of the same, except social services don't some round when they've burned to death.
Virtual Villagers is a near perfect game where you have to train up your tribe of virtual villagers to learn how to survive in the desert. You get to teach your virtual villagers to become farmers, builders, scientists, parents and more, while trying not to screw their lives up so much that they're left miserable or dead. Virtual Villagers is one of the most engrossing games we've ever played, and seeing your villagers progress managed to stir some deep responsibility in our black black hearts. Plus, Virtual Villagers is played out in real time as well, so they've always learnt something new every time you turn the game on. Fantastic.
