The luge is probably the stupidest sport on the planet. Strapping yourself flat against a plank of wood and hurtling down a bobsleigh track is just about the dumbest thing that a human being can do.
The only thing stupider than a luge is a street luge, where people strap themselves flat against a plank of wood with wheels attached and hurtle down a road. An actual, gravelly road. We genuinely can’t see the point of a street luge – if you want to get to the bottom of the hill, stop poncing around with the luge and just call a bloody taxi.
To show you how completely stupid street luge is, today’s Slackerjack is an online representation of a street luge. Have a go – you’ll crash about seven million times.

LOOK knob head Luging is the most extreme sport EVER. You should grow some balls and try it before slagging it off. Whats not too love about immense speed and being like all of an inch away from the tarmac. I think you should definately try it before you knock it because adrenaline is the best drug ever and its free!!!

After skydiving for 12 years I took up street luge as my retirement sport. It’s half the speed and 4″ off the ground and I hear the same stupid questions from the same stupid people. Why are we consistently questioned by the nutless?
If you haven’t done it you will never understand it and if you have done it you can never explain it.
Get off your couch potato ass and take a chance for once. Even if it’s the last thing you do, at least you did something real.
