If we had to pick any job in the world to have, it’d be a space pirate. Yes, we’re aware that space pirate isn’t technically a) in the world or b) real, but at least Star Trap goes some way to making up for that.

Star Trap is a sort of space colonisation game where you have to blow the shit out of any spacecraft you see and steal its money. Hardly very moral, but faced with that or another summer selling crystal candlesticks, we know which one we’d pick. Then Star Trap lets you visit planets to trade your booty with all manner of freakishly identical-looking aliens. Why? To make your ship bigger, badder and better at exploding unsuspecting spacecraft, that’s why. We get the impression that Star Trap is basically intergalactic happy slapping, but it’s fun so shut up.
