SLACKERJACK – Save Them Goldfish
In the old days, games didn’t have ends – they just got harder and harder until you died. Look at Space Invaders – the invaders never thought "bloody hell, he’s a bit nifty at destroying our spacecraft, let’s bugger off and invade somewhere else," did they? They just carried on until they killed you.
Save Them Goldfish is a game much like this, only impossibly crueler. For some reason, your housemate has taken it upon himself to fling your goldfish onto a burning hot frying pan. You have to save them and drop them back into the goldfish bowl as quickly as you can. But the more you save, the faster and faster your housemate gets, until he’s eventually cooked all your fish.
Remember, don’t try playing Save Them Goldfish in real life at home – we did, and it’s rubbish. The pan got too hot, and the fish seared themselves to it instead of flapping about amusingly.
