Although games that emulate funfairs are fun, we don't feel as if the definitive funfair game has been created yet – the sort of game where you feel simultaneously elated and disgusted that you won a packet of Chewits on a shooting range but had to pay £6 to actually do it.

In the meantime, though, here's Red Wire. Red Wire is one of those games where you have to move a ring along a line without the sides of the ring touching the line. We're rubbish at those games, and so it goes without saying that we're rubbish at Red Wire. How rubbish? Not even being able to get the ring around the very first bend, that's how rubbish. You'll be better at Red Wire than us, so by all means feel free to berate our lack of self-worth if you do better.
