Oh god. We should warn you now - Pentago is a stunning little game, one that will challenge your intellect to its very limit. But we’re arsed if we know how to explain it to you.
So listen carefully - there are four grids of nine holes. Two players - one black and one white - take turn to put balls in the holes. After putting the balls in the holes, they then get to rotate any of the grids 90 degrees. Eventually one of the players will have lined up five balls of the same colour across any of the grids and they win. Look - if you play Pentago for a couple of minutes you’ll pick it up. So this whole thing has been a waste of your time, hasn’t it? Sorry.
