SLACKERJACK – Monster Invasion
A quick history lesson: How did the British kick out the Vikings? Well, they didn’t. The decline of the Vikings was more to do with the increasing Christianisation of Scandinavia in the 11th century than anything else. But that’d make a crappy online game, so the answer we were looking for in this case was… flamethrowers!
Today’s Slackerjack is Monster Invasion, a historical recreation of the time when the people of London kicked the Vikings out of town with flamethrowers, or by pinging them into the air with planks of wood, or by dropping concrete block on their heads.
In Monster Invasion, you get points for every second you manage to hold back the Vikings with the aforementioned cartoony traps. And if you get a high score, you could win one of three PSPs.
