Obviously that’s Magic Vines as in the jungle plant, not as in the Aspergers-related Australian band. That would be weird. And Magic Vines isn’t really that weird. Weirdly good, maybe.

Magic Vines is one of those puzzle games where you have to link up rows of stuff in order to try and empty the screen. But – and perhaps we’re reading too much into things here – Magic Vines is more like a reflection of your working day than a normal puzzle game. You start of with a load of jumbled-up magic vines and, once you’ve started to make the smallest bit of headway into sorting out the mess, another pile of jumbled up magic vines lands slap-bang on top. And Magic Vines goes on and on and on – just like your job. On the plus side, Magic Vines is much more fun than a day at work, but a downside is that you don’t get the chance to stare down Kelly From HR’s top like you normally do, you filthy bugger.
