SLACKERJACK – Lego Bricktopia
Lego has to be one of the best inventions in the world. As well as being colourful, educational and – when put inside a cot – the fifth-easiest way to make a baby cry, Lego is now a computer game, and it goes by the name of Lego Bricktopia.
Lego Bricktopia isn't an especially original game – it's Breakout with Lego – but it's pulled off with such panache that you can't help falling in love with it just a little bit. As you'd expect, Lego features quite heavily in Lego Bricktopia – you smack a ball into a pile of Lego bricks with a Lego brick paddle – but once you're inside Lego Bricktopia you don't have time to think about the relative benefits of various building block-based toys because the game just overwhelms the senses. Lego Bricktopia is brilliant, and you won't end up in hospital because you wanted to see how many pieces of it you could stick up your nose.
