Lasso is either a work of genius or a pile of unmitigated claptrap, and we’re buggered if we know which one. We can’t stop playing it, which is a good thing – but we grumble throughout. And that’s bad.

In Lasso you’ve got to use your cursor to loop around these orbs that float around the screen using the trail line coming from the cursor. It’s a nice idea and it sounds ridiculously easy, except your trail is just a little bit too short to be able to loop the spheres easily, and if you get too close to the spheres you run the risk of knocking them with your cursor, which makes you lose points. This impossibly fine balance makes Lasso both challenging and frustrating in equal measure. And right now we’re leaning towards frustrating.
