There’s a weird, weird show on Court TV at the moment that goes by the name of Las Vegas Law, which stars the irrepressible Bucky Buchanan.
Bucky Buchanan is a real-life Las Vegas lawyer who – by day – takes it upon himself to represent prostitutes, drug addicts and murderers in an especially charming manner. And then – by night – he’s the sort of bumbling fool that accidentally sets his own oven on fire. And it’s Bucky Buchanan who makes Las Vegas Law all the more compelling.
Today we’re going to give you a little taster of Las Vegas Law with the Las Vegas Law Case Predictor. Yeah, OK, it’s a magic 8 ball. But, you know, more legal.

Actually, it was Bucky’s wife that set the stove on fire-he was busy playing pool when the whole thing went down. In fact, it was Bucky who put the fire out by dousing it with flour, but his dopey wife failed to turn the burner off, which made the situation go from bad to worse.
One thing is for sure, Bucky was no bumbler; he was a Naval Academy grad and a nuclear physicist. Before he became the legendary Las Vegas defense lawyer he was, he designed bombs that would have turned the USSR into glass had they ever been used. He had a brilliant, steel trap mind.
Too bad the same can’t be said for the scared-of-their-own-shadow execs working at the pathetic network once known as Court TV.
