SLACKERJACK – I/O

i/o gameYou know what we love? Puzzles without instructions. Impenetrable puzzles without instructions. Impenetrable puzzles without instructions like I/O.

We're joking, of course. We don't love I/O at all. It scares us. We just don't understand what we're supposed to do. There are boxes and colours and arrows and switches and tubes, and we haven't got the foggiest about what they do. If you happen to play I/O for long enough to understand it, do let us know. It's made us feel terribly stupid.

Play I/O now

It’s complicated. The colored boxes on the right are to be filled with the numbers in the corresponding colored boxes around the large central bit with the “reset” button.

The wires are your distribution system, and the arrows with the “cups” are the loading and unloading buttons.

The thing with the blinking green lights is an adder (not the snake type, the digital circuit type), summing from the two boxes above into the one below.

All the numbers in the boxes are possible combinations of 8, 5, 3, and 1.

And Simpleandy is a fucking liar.
