Here at hecklerspray Christmas wrapping has never really been our thing. Why bother with poncey ribbons and bows, we reason, when we can just sellotape up the plastic bag we bought it in? Sadly as ever, our headstrong idealism in this area has cost us more girlfriends than we care to remember.
But just because we're too lazy and massively uncoordinated to gift wrap presents, it doesn't mean that we can't appreciate the qualities of a game that's about gift wrapping. And that, believe it or not, is what Gift Wrapped is about. Gift Wrapped is one of those games that, if we explained to you now what it was about, you'd scoff at its simplicity and pass over it without a second thought. So we're not going to explain Gift Wrapped to you just this once – we want you to experience the heart palpitations and cold sweats as your eyes, brain and hands get mixed up into one horrible time-aware mess just because you can't remember what an ice skate looks like. Gift Wrapped, take our word for it, is much much harder than it looks.
