All the girls love a firefighter, don’t they? Who knows why - maybe it’s a hose thing, or maybe it’s because a firefighter is more likely to die earlier, leaving his girlfriend with all that life insurance cash.
Either way, the closest the majority of us will get to being a firefighter is watching Backdraft in a semi-drunken state at 3am on a Saturday night in between wiping away a never-ending stream of lonely tears. Until, that is, the Firefighter Game.
The Firefighter Game is a simple conceit - there’s a building on fire, and you have to put it the hell out before it burns to ashes and the owner sues you for incompetence. Being a firefighter is skill.
