The premise of Dream Chronicles is a simple one: imagine waking to find your husband missing and your daughter and the entire town under a sleeping spell – what would you do? That's easy; you'd throw a party, right ladies? Are we right? C'mon, we're right aren't we, ladies? Huh? Ladies?
Unfortunately the Dream Chronicles protagonist doesn't quite share our love of menless good-time partying. When her husband goes missing and the whole town falls under a sleeping spell, she doesn't instantly loot the off licence but goes on an epic voyage of exploration to return her life to normal. And that's Dream Chronicles – a hugely involving action adventure game that sees you uncovering all kinds of clues that will eventually return your husband and child to their original state, which is probably violently drunk and screaming respectively, your poor dumb fool.
