Digg this!

Desktop Tower Defence gameWe have to admit that we were hoping that Desktop Tower Defence was a game where a man leapt onto your computer desktop without warning, Kato-style, and you had to kill him before he started deleting all your important files.

But it isn't that at all – although that's not to say that Desktop Tower Defence isn't fun. When you play Desktop Tower Defence you have to buy various weapons and place them strategically on your desktop. Then a bunch of nasties run across your desktop, and it's up to your automatically-firing weapons to take them out. If they don't, buy some more weapons and fill the gaps where you're letting them through. For a game about killing stuff, Desktop Tower Defence is kind of soothing, and something you'll be playing for hours if you're anything like us.
