SLACKERJACK – Descent

You know what we’ve decided we like? Games that look simple until you play them, whereupon you realise that they just make you want to cry.

Descent is that game. When you play Descent you control the level around a slowly falling ball, tilting it and spinning it so that the ball doesn’t hit the walls. That’s hard enough to do by itself, but when Descent starts to factor in colour-changes and blocks that slam together and more corners than you could ever wish for, Descent seems designed to make you feel even stupider than you actually are. Or exactly as stupid as you actually are, in our case.
