Aside from Ker-Plunk and Pop Up Pirate, Risk is probably one of the toughest board games around. And it deserves to be, too – if conquering the world was easy, you'd all be wearing hecklerspray-approved slacks and blazers by now.
Why are we talking about Risk when today's Slackerjack is a game called Conquest? Duh – what do you think? It's because Conquest is basically exactly the same as Risk. If you can play Risk you can play Conquest; you get an army together and try to ruthlessly conquer more of the world than anyone else. You can play Conquest with friends over the internet or – if you don't have any friends – with the game's adjustably nasty difficulty settings. Even though Conquest is basically a pretty version of Risk, it didn't stop us from playing it for hours and developing a dangerously unhealthy Napoleon complex in the process.
