SLACKERJACK – Cheerioke

CheeriokeYou wouldn’t normally equate singing a Michael Bolton song with eating tiny breakfast cereal hoops, but that’s exactly what Cheerioke is.

Cheerioke was created to promote yoghurty Cheerios, or something, but it’s so weird that we thought we’d mention it. It’s an online karaoke game. First you have to pick your Cheerioke model, and customise it until it looks exactly like you.

Then you choose one of three blindingly dreadful songs (I’m Into Something Good, I Think We’re Alone Now or How Am I Supposed To Live Without You) and sing it either into your computer’s microphone or down a telephone. Then you can send your new animated, all-singing, all-dancing creation to anybody you want to, to prove exactly how insufferable you really are.

We haven’t actually tried Cheerioke – sing? Us? – but if you do, be sure to leave a nice link to your singing effort in the comments box below.
