SLACKERJACK – Butlins Disco Diva
It’s a weird fact that, although every film about dancing is a total waste of time and money, there are a few decent dance-based videogames.
From jiggling around in front of your Eye-Toy to finding the hidden dance contests in GTA San Andreas, it seems that dancing lends itself very well to computer games. Which is kind of perverse, seeing as people only play games in the first place because they’re lousy at dancing.
Today’s Slackerjack is a Butlins disco dancing game. Apparently, there are things called Butlins Adult Party Breaks, which sound to us like a room full of idiots dressed up as Austin Powers ordering you to have fun. But what do we know? And, anyway, the game’s pretty good.
