SLACKERJACK – Bricks Of Egypt 2
You know, we've always thought that if we were the explorers who discovered the ancient treasures of the pyramids, the first thing we'd do is smash up everything with a really heavy ball. It's almost like Bricks Of Egypt 2 can read our minds.
It's hard to think of a more ludicrous plot of a game than that of Bricks Of Egypt 2 – it seems to put you in the role of an architect determined to smash the life out of all the valuable artifacts that you come across in a Breakout stylee. Surely you'd want to collect it all up in a bag and sell it all down the market, not thoughtlessly destroy everything. Still, once you've let Bricks Of Egypt 2's brain-warping plot wash over you, the actual Bricks Of Egypt 2 gameplay is pretty special. It's surprisingly engrossing and – for a Breakout clone – wonderfully complex. And big, too – Bricks Of Egypt 2 is so big that you'll be playing it at the expense of everything else in your life, even getting up to go to the toilet. And we should know.
